When we think of hair growth products, Fenugreek and Rosemary Lotion often takes a special place, but for good reason. Fenugreek is a traditional herb used in Ayurvedic and Chinese care, and in cosmetics it is most often used in the form of seeds or powder. In addition to lotion and shampoo, you can now find fenugreek in the new Fenugreek scalp oil. Below, find out the differences between lotions and oils, benefits and what to choose for hair growth.

Differences between Fenugreek and Rosemary Lotion and Fenugreek Oil

Cult Fenugreek and Rosemary lotion is a light, liquid texture, based on fenugreek seed extract and rosemary essential oil. The lotion is additionally enriched with panthenol and glycerin to hydrate and soothe the scalp. There is no drying alcohol or additional fragrances, and it is easily absorbed thanks to its liquid consistency. It is designed as a treatment before washing the hair, and is applied directly to the dry scalp with an applicator.

On the other hand, Fenugreek Scalp Oil is based on fenugreek seed oil, but also nourishing oils such as olive and almond oil and vitamin E. Fenugreek oil is rich in proteins, essential fatty acids and minerals, which is why it provides deep care for dry and damaged hair and scalp. Olive and almond oil help regenerate hair, deeply nourish, nourish and protect the scalp. Vitamin E provides much-needed antioxidant action, while also helping to contribute to a balanced scalp. Fenugreek oil for the scalp is also recommended to be used as a treatment on the scalp and the length of the hair before washing.

Here's which one will suit you better

Fenugreek and rosemary lotion, due to its liquid texture, is recommended for people with oily scalps or scalps prone to seborrhea, as well as those who prefer a light product that absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy residue.

Fenugreek oil is an ideal choice for those who prefer oily, more nourishing hair and scalp care. Dry hair and scalp will also love the oily texture.

Used before washing hair

Fenugreek and rosemary lotion is applied directly to dry scalp with an applicator, then massaged thoroughly with fingers or a massager for at least a few minutes. It is left on for half an hour to several hours before washing your hair as usual.

Fenugreek oil is also applied to dry scalp before washing. A few pumps will be enough to treat the entire scalp, and then applied to the length all the way to the ends. The oil should also be massaged in well, left to act for half an hour to several hours, and then washed.

It is important to note that both products are not intended for use on damaged, sensitive or children's scalps, nor are they a substitute for medical treatments. We also do not recommend leaving the product on the scalp for more than a few hours or overnight, to avoid irritation of the scalp due to the product's concentration and action.

Nothing without a scalp massage

In addition to regular use, it is essential to apply scalp products with regular scalp massage. Scalp massage stimulates microcirculation, which allows more oxygen to reach the hair roots. Stimulating microcirculation increases the flow of nutrients to the hair follicles and helps with better absorption.

You can use your fingertips to massage without rubbing too hard, moving the skin in small circular motions. A scalp massager can also help, provided it has rounded tips so as not to damage the follicles. Massage can be a pleasant ritual, for example while watching your favorite series, and in the long run leads to healthier, faster and better hair growth.
